Burnout — Overworked Division
A claymation-style burnout awareness film that personifies the body's overworked organs as a frantic corporate office, turning chronic stress into a relatable, character-driven story.
- Style
Claymation / Stop-Motion Animation
- Role
Character Conception, Narrative Strategy, Metaphorical Design
- Approach
Personify human organs—specifically the brain, stomach, immune system, and heart—as an "Overworked Division" corporate office staff to visually map the physical toll of burnout.
The video builds relatable dramatic tension by moving from frantic multitasking (Slack pings, Zoom calls, coffee dependency) to an ultimate point of collapse, using expressive character design, lighting shifts, and a gentle external helper character to shift the tone from high-anxiety to a supportive, mental wellness-focused resolution.
- Impact
Created a highly shared, emotionally resonant campaign that communicates the physical and mental symptoms of chronic stress without relying on dry medical terminology or clinical lectures.
By pairing a whimsical art style with a heavy topic, the content successfully lowers viewer defenses, promotes self-reflection, and achieves viral advocacy reach across social platforms.
